Is there really a Feist song called "Sea Lion"?
She's been covering "See-Line Woman" (most famously recorded by Nina Simone) for years now. I would laugh every time I saw someone write it as "Sea Lion Woman" and now I'm thinking oh not again...
Actually, there is quite a bit ambiguity as to the original title. Nina did record the song, but it was first recorded as a field recording in Mississippi in 1939. The Shipp Sisters (Katherine and Christine) sang it as a skipping song. The words of their original recording (http://odeo.com/audio/11268763/view) is unclear, and the liner notes to the field recording reflect that.
Anyway, the Chromeo remix is great. Thank you for it!
