    Blogiversary #2

So yeah, Nerd Litter turned two on Sunday. Since its inception, it's grown beyond its humble origins as a furries enthusiast site into the proud behemoth you see before you today. I'd be lying if I said I didn't appreciate the many backstage groupies, bedazzled tourists shaking my hand on the G train, and semi-weekly Meetup groups that have sprung up to celebrate this site. I can only imagine what the coming year will hold, but as long as it involves many graven idols of my likeness and sweeping the Bloggies, I'll be a satisfied man.

And now, without further ado, here's a self-congratulatory look back at some (okay, most) of my favorite posts from the last year:

June: The best 10 singles of the mid-year, The best 10 songs of the mid-year
July: The best 10 albums of the mid-year, I'll sleep when you're uploaded #2, The greatest #5: Dummy, The writing on the wall #19, The thick of it, One of these days I'm gonna be a big noise
August: It's winter again and New York's been broken, Review #6: Kala by M.I.A., Behind the Blog: Blogs Are For Dogs, Everybody, just clap your hands, The greatest #7: Veedon Fleece
September: Thank you very much, and for now, siyonara
    October: Kuala Lumpur series
November: Oh God, I miss you, This Is England
December: Saigon series #1, The best 30 songs of 2007, The best 30 singles of 2006, The best 30 albums of 2007
    January: Angkor Wat series
February: Review #7: Made in the Dark by Hot Chip, 51 Birch Street, 2-1-5, prepare for glory, The best 15 films of 2007, The writing on the wall #24, The greatest #7: "On the Nature of Daylight", Mixtape for my sweetheart, the drunk #19
March: Guilin series, Way down in the hole
April: Darkness in my heart: an interview with Dan McGee, For I am guilty for the voice that I obey, Blood rain, Come see the city with me
May: Mixtape for my sweetheart, the drunk #21, I I I can't help it, Crank up my alpine and my bass crazy kickin' it

Huzzah. Here's to at least another year of highly illegal activities!

I liked this site way better when it was a furries site. You sold out, homie. Hard.

Congrats on two years. I'll buy you some birthday acid.

Wait, that was your hand I was shaking?

All downhill from here, of course. I'm buying stock in sleds.

In my heart, Nerd Litter has replaced the Oxygen Network as the first place I check every day to see if Justine Bateman is doing any semi-nude films.

    Congrats on the deuce!
